Captura Indoor Air Quality Products for Southern California Homes
Germicidal UV and Filtration Systems for Every Home
If you’ve replaced your air filter on schedule and still notice the dust, odors, or allergy symptoms, the filter isn’t the whole answer. NEXGEN installs Captura’s germicidal and filtration systems for homeowners who want something more than a basic filter change.
Captura builds two product lines: germicidal UV purifiers that neutralize bacteria, viruses, and mold spores as air passes through the system, and polarized media filtration systems that capture the particulate matter, smoke, and chemical odors that UV doesn’t reach. Together, they cover all three categories of indoor air pollution: bioaerosols (airborne microorganisms), particulates such as dust and pollen, and VOCs (volatile organic compounds released by household products and building materials).

Captura UV Air Purifiers
Captura UV purifiers install inside your HVAC ductwork. As air circulates through, it passes the germicidal lamp, and pathogens can’t survive repeated exposure. The models with a second UVV lamp include a patented oxidation chamber, which is the right choice when odors, pet smells, or chemical VOC buildup is part of the problem alongside biological threats. Captura documents a 99.9% effectiveness rate across the product line.
We install five models sized for different homes and configurations. Single-lamp ozone-free units cover most residential setups. Dual-lamp systems add odor control and higher germicidal output for homes where that matters.
Captura’s UV line covers single-lamp, dual-lamp, and high-output configurations:
- DM-18003 – Dual UVC germicidal and UVV odor-control lamps in a patented oxidation chamber. CARB certified. Lifetime warranty on electronics, 3-year warranty on lamps.
- CP-RM18003 – Same dual-lamp capability in a compact remote unit for tight duct spaces. Upgradeable to add odor control. CARB certified. Lifetime warranty on electronics, 3-year warranty on lamps.
- CP-RM36003 – Second remote germicidal lamp delivers up to six times the germicidal output of single-tube systems. UVV odor control included. CARB certified. Lifetime warranty on electronics.
- CP-RM180 – Single-lamp, ozone-free model verified under UL867 and meeting the UL2998 standard. Lifetime warranty on electronics, 3-year warranty on lamps.
- CP-RM360 – Two-lamp ozone-free system with up to six times the germicidal output. Works with air handlers up to 10 tons. Lifetime warranty on electronics.
Our technicians review your duct configuration before recommending a model. UV lamps need replacement every 2 to 3 years, and we handle that as a scheduled service call.
Captura Filtration Products
UV handles biological threats well. It doesn’t pull particles out of the air. Dust, pollen, tobacco smoke, and the fine debris from wildfire season pass right through a UV system unchanged. Captura’s filtration line handles what UV doesn’t.
Polarized Media Filters
The PureFlo uses a high-voltage power head to create an electric charge inside your HVAC filter compartment. As air passes through, the charge attracts and holds particles, including those down to 0.01 microns, delivering MERV 11 performance at the same static pressure as a standard fiberglass filter. Your airflow doesn’t take a hit.
The unit draws less than 3 watts, which Captura estimates will cost roughly $1 per year in electricity. It fits into your existing filter compartment without any ductwork modifications and carries a lifetime warranty on the electronics. Filter media pads last 2 to 4 months and come in 3-packs for replacement.
CPH1000 Whole House HEPA Air Cleaner
The CPH1000 installs on the return-air side of your duct system, with the motor running parallel to the airstream. That means there’s no pressure drop. Your HVAC system keeps moving air at full capacity while the CPH1000 filters it.
In Captura’s home testing, the CPH1000 captured 99.9% of particles larger than 0.5 microns within a 12-hour period. The HEPA filter lasts up to 2 years. A carbon pre-filter replaced twice yearly handles VOCs and odors alongside the HEPA stage. The unit carries a 7-year warranty.
Note that not all filters sold as “HEPA type” meet the true HEPA threshold, which requires 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns. The CPH1000 does.

“My thermostat took a dive on me so I went to replace it. That's where I met Breanna at Home Depot she advised me on the Ecobee one and normally I don't use big companies because of cost is always higher since they have higher overhead. However, at $49 for a diagnostic they sent someone out and that's when things got even better Lazaro was our technician. He was trustworthy and communicative and effective at explaining to me and my wife what he's doing to our unit and why. In the end because of his demeanor and character I chose to get work done through his company. I got an ionizer placed and he patched a few areas where air was escaping. Cleaned condenser and added a second capacitor and cleaned the fan on inside of my house as well as checked the coils which were fine. In summary the company is trustworthy or at least my experience was good. At at a $49 diagnostic fee it was worth it to have someone come out and let me know where I'm at. Can't say enough though about Lazaro he sold me on trusting next gen so if everyone is like him you'll find value.”- S.S.

“My technician Joseph was a solid and upstanding dude. He took his time doing an inspection of my old hvac system. He let me hover over him and helped educate me on the different components of the furnace and AC units. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, but he told me what I needed to hear. Would trust him and his team to do my maintenance and future installs for my home.”- Andrew W.

“My AC stopped working and gave me a power failure message. Ryan was dispatched as the technician to assist. He was great, he quickly diagnosed the issues (fuses and capacitors). He gave me practical solutions and was great to work with. If I have issues in the future I will be asking for him specifically.”- Roger D.
